Today

Today was a bit frustrating. After preschool I gathered the kids, the dog and other things that we needed to take to the cabin. When I got there Janie showed me a little blue egg in the driveway. A little later I went back to the truck and there in the driveway were three more eggs. Little blue eggs. We do have a lot of birds at the cabin. I am not sure why the eggs would be on the ground and not in a nest.

The plan for today was to get as much grass cut as possible. Things started out great. About thirty minutes into it the lawn mower stopped. I could not get it to crank again. Guess I will be taking it to the shop. I just moved on to trimming one of the bushes. Karmin and Janie helped with this chore. I am sure they wanted to join in so they could use the electric trimmer. We raked the clippings and planned to burn them. Lol--we did not have any matches or a lighter.

Next, I get out the hose and spray our fruit trees with the fungus treatment. After we got the ants out of the hose that went pretty easy. I am finally ready to use the weed eater. While I was busy weed eating Janie cut down some seedlings. Things were going pretty well and then it happened. The weed eater BROKE! We just packed every thing up and put it back in the shed. No one wanted to work on anything else so I left.

You guessed it! I HAD to go to Lowe's. Thank goodness the weed eater has been around for a while and we got our money out of it. Now I have a brand new weed eater. It was on sale and I got a 10% discount on top of  it. I brought it home and intended to use it at the house. Well, all the electric cords are at the cabin. I just smiled and shook my head.
