Really?

First, I must say how sorry I am to all the earthworms that I have hurt in the past two days. It seems that every time I dig in the dirt at the cabin there is a worm. I am happy to see them as I am told they are good for the garden. There are just so many. Maybe we should start a worm business.

You are not going to believe this one. Karmin and I went to the cabin today to make sure every thing was good after the storms last night. We left the cabin door to the side porch open like we do every time we are there. We went about our way and did a couple of things since we were there. Karmin goes into the cabin to put things away. Next thing I know I hear MOM come here fast, come here now!! So I run up on the porch and the next thing I see is a CAT tearing out of the cabin. I know what you are thinking. You are thinking that cat is finally gone. No, no it is not. This was another gray cat. We have seen it around the cabin. Karmin told me that it was sitting at the front window looking out and meowing. I am sure this cat belongs to the last owner too. Thank goodness it did not want to stay inside. Outside is good. It can help keep away other critters.

So, this makes one rooster, one hen, one indoor cat, and one outdoor cat the people left. I am now thinking the dog that they told us was left by some other neighbor was REALLY theirs.

  1. Worms are GREAT!!! You have some healthy, productive soil. I'm actually thinking of purchasing some worms. Maybe you need to set up an animal adoption facility too!
