This was one exciting day. The cat that has been living outside at the cabin is no more. It now resides at the local shelter thanks to Melissa.
It all started while I was weeding the garden. What do you think I saw??? Yep, cat poop. Told Melissa that the cat had to go. It had also broken some of the plants. I know it was the cat because he left his little paw prints. As Brian and I worked on the chicken coop Melissa saw the cat laying at the edge of the garden. The cat was meowing very loudly like he wanted to be petted. Melissa started moving very slowly towards him. He started to run but turned back and laid down. Melissa sat on the ground and talked to him softly. After a few minutes he let her pet him. As she petted him she quickly grabbed him up.
As Melissa was fighting for her life against this wild beast Brian went to get the dog cage. While we were waiting we put it in the chicken coop run. The cat was not happy AT ALL. Next we quickly got it in the dog cage. Of course the thing tried to scratch its way out. Finally we got it secure in the cage and in the truck bed it went.
Now that cat lives at the pound. Thanks to Melissa for scraping with that wild cat and getting it wrangled in.
Yeah Melissa! Happy for you that you got to see Brian!
